ARTHUR INKWELL ● SCHOLAR ● ARCHIVIST ● ADVENTURER
The son of a Sharlayan botanist and Ul’dah’s most prolific archivist and librarian, Arthur grew up with an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Through his studies and his elder brother, he was introduced to the history of the nation of Nym, and their story instantly captured Arthur’s imagination.

With the help of the books in his father’s archives, Arthur learned as much about the long-gone nation as he could, even going so far as to study their healing arts and becoming a self-taught Scholar of decent skill. Still, desperate to learn more, and to visit the long-abandoned Sharlayan colony of his birth in the wilds of Dravania, Arthur’s eyes turned to the world beyond the walls of Ul’dah. Not wanting their son to live a sheltered life surrounded by dusty tomes, his family would bid him to set out into the world to learn, explore, and grow.
